Problem Statement
The current metering devices in taxis are limited in functionality and are pretty bulky, this presents critical challenges. Drivers encounter difficulties in navigating with the device and efficiently digitizing their trips. These devices also lacks intuitive design elements, leading to reduced productivity among taxi drivers. Furthermore, security concerns need addressing to protect sensitive trip data. We aimed to revamp the design, making it more intuitive, efficient, and secure to ensure OnYourWay becomes the preferred choice for taxi drivers.
User Behavior Research
Extensive research into driver behavior has highlighted challenges related to using meters and navigation systems while driving. Many drivers find these tasks distracting, potentially compromising safety. OnYourWay seeks to address this by offering an optimized UI/UX that minimizes distractions, streamlines metering, and enhances navigation, all while prioritizing safety. Through intuitive design and voice-feedback features, OnYourWay aims to empower drivers to efficiently manage these essential functions, ultimately improving their overall driving experience without compromising safety on the road.
